Near the end of WW2, prisoners of war are used in experiments to perfect the Arian race.
During the last days of WW2, several female prisoners arrive at Camp 5 to work as sex slaves for officers and guinea pigs for horrific experiments by Nazi doctors who are trying to find a cure for burns. But these women are not going to die without a fight... Can they stay alive until the closing Red army comes to their rescue?
Ernesto is a young Italian Jew of the early 1900s who works in his uncle's factory in Trieste. Not entirely secure with his sexual orientation, Ernesto enters into an affair with one of his uncle's employees.
Based on a real WW2 episode. In 1944 in a small village in the Italian Appenines several inhabitants are executed in reprisal for a partisan attack on the German occupying troops. The lieutenant responsible for the execution becomes a priest and then a bishop and several years later he is put on trial for the killings.
