A young woman named Carolina returns to her village, unaware that she is the heir to a hacienda marked by an ancient curse. Raised as a servant’s daughter, she is oblivious to her true origin and her family’s dark past. As she grows, she faces secrets, forbidden passions, and forces that seek to destroy her to prevent her from claiming what is rightfully hers.
The series tells of cases based on real events, which show how a woman is able to be at peace and end her suffering in the most lethal way, killing. In each episode, the protagonist tries to find a way to get rid of her problems, motivated by love, revenge, pain, desperation, resentment, contempt, hatred, beatings, addiction or frustration.
