Carmen, a woman haunted by family tragedy, drives at night after a long day of work. To fight sleep, she decides to stop in a gas station to rest. There, she meets a shadow of her past who could explain her present.
Madrid, 1980. When Sole sees Nano come in, bloody and beaten, she already knows what to do. In an improvised infirmary, she tries to mend his son’s wounds.
