A young Buenos Aires mother finds employment as a sex worker and struggles to live under the same laws that are supposed to protect her.
After his father passes away at age 10, the lives of Luis Palau and his family are changed forever. Within a few years of his father's death, Luis, his siblings, and his mother are left nearly destitute. Luis is forced to discontinue his education at an elite boarding school in Argentina and provide for his family as they slip into poverty.
Rodolfo (Luis Brandoni) is a retired doctor. Since he was widowed a few years ago, he lives alone in his house. For an unexpected event, his daughter Laura (Nancy Dupláa) with whom he barely speaks, needs to move with him for a few days. The coexistence will bring old discussions to the table, wounds that did not heal and the opportunity for them to connect again.
