Manne, Harri, and Ville Alfa are rootless twenty-somethings in search of purpose for their banal lives. After Manne steals a priceless painting from a group of petty criminals, Manne and Harri flee from the gangsters across Finland, while Ville goes to Paris. On the road they meet Veera, an old girlfriend of Harri's, and try to avoid the gangsters in pursuit.
A silent comedy. Two accident-prone plumbers go to fix the plumbing at a home for retired gentle-folk on the coldest day of the year in Finland. Everything that can go wrong for these plumbers goes wrong.
Antti and Annikki have secretly decided to spend Christmas in Leppävaara. The family's entrepreneurial son Erkki has gone to Moscow with his yarn Jaakko Järvenheimo to sell tampers and ski packages to the Russians. The Metsola family (except for Erkki, Jaakko and Heikki's family) gather once again in Leppävaara to celebrate the Christmas of memories.
