Playful penguin Pingu lives with his family in Antarctica, where he often finds himself caught up in mischievous high jinks with his pal Robby.
Pingu and his family move from their small village to the big city; in which there are many people with many different occupations. The ever-curious Pingu tries to join them at their jobs, but his mischievous side gets the better of him and he ends up messing things up.
It's excitement all round when a wedding invitation arrives and the Pingu family make their way to the gathering. However things do not go quite as planned with an absentee groom, a new arrival and the havoc wreaked by a damaged gift.
