Hanna begins to reminisce about her time in Berlin and reviews her past relationships and affairs. Each of her ex-girlfriends connects her to something different and has played its part in making Hanna the woman she is today.
Nico (33), German-Persian, emancipated and happy, is the most popular geriatric nurse for her patients. With her best friend Rosa (37), she enjoys the summer in Berlin. A xenophobic attack tears the self-confident NICO from its self-determined everyday life. Waking up in the hospital, she realizes that she doesn't seem to be a part of it after all.
