A group of college students are duped by a charming pathological liar.
Aya and Louis separated a long time ago. Their little girl, Lina, is now 7 years old. Today, Aya lives with Victor, with whom she’d like to have a baby. Louis is with Gaëlle, who’s his girlfriend but nothing more. Through nine secret meetings organised by Aya, the film tells the story of how a woman and a man, torn between romantic charades and the quest for a «permanent» harmony, take a fresh start at being lovers.
Jean, a respected theater actor, leads a dissolute life. Separated from the mother of his child, he devotes most of his time to work, alcohol, and women. Sylvain in full adolescence, feels the need to get closer to his father. On a whim, both of them leave to join an old friend of Jean, Bob the American, who lives on an isolated ranch. From then on, they will try to apprehend each other, with clumsiness, hesitation and sometimes even violence.
