On their road trip through the southwestern desert, Alex and his girlfriend Scarlett arrive in a town in the middle of nowhere and take a room in a mysterious hotel so that Scarlett, who is feeling increasingly ill, can get some rest.
Jeff Ross visits several cities across the country, roasting the towns and the residents in volunteer-only speed roasts. Roasting his way through cities including Seattle, Toronto, Las Vegas, Miami and Madison, Ross roasts a statue of Abe Lincoln in Washington D.C., gets roasted by John Rich in Nashville, and in Minneapolis, brings an old friend onstage to tell a very intimate story the way only Jeff Ross can.
Manhattan, 1996. All mental hospitals must cut their patient load by a third, and LaRue (Will Keenan) is sent out onto the streets with "chronic reading syndrome". He ends up at the Love Hotel (where most of the inmates are being held), and falls in love with a mute girl who's obsessive mother dominates her life. To top it all off, LaRue is given a roommate with Tourette's syndrome and is chased by a prehistoric worm that inhabits peoples bodies and mutates them.
