“Sopi, a day in” is a day in the life of an southern Greek village during harvest season. It focuses on a mosaic of characters, people with distinctive peculiarities and their intriguing way of life. “Sopi, a day in” is an impressionistic look at a place, of its nature and of its people.
In July 2018, a fire broke out around the villages of Mati and Neos Voutzas, in Attica, Greece. People lost their lives. What remains are memories of sounds and sights of a black land.
