In fragments, three women talk about their limiting living conditions and their experiences of violence. Not showing their faces ensures a protection they have lacked in their previous experiences. Images of masculinity make what is told indirect.

Luis, a family man, and Miguel, his older son, are laborers at a sawmill in the mountains in southern Chile. Solitude and sadness drive Miguel to migrate to the city and start over. Due to the instability in his work and his monotonous existence, Luis will try to change his life, but destiny will want something different.

A young city man joins the construction of a lighthouse in the deep south of Chile. Among rude workers, the only woman in the place will be his best company on this cold and lonely piece of land.
