Way of the Shepherd 2024

Christian Cordova Aliaga is a dedicated father and husband who sacrifices years at a time away from his family in Peru to work as a shepherd in the San Francisco Bay Area. With two border collies and hundreds of goats, he roams the hills conducting vegetation management, an age-old, natural practice of defending the land from wildfires. Christian shares with us his love of nature, the animals he works with, and a simpler way of living.
