Hidden from the eyes of those who enjoy the river and the sun, a hill becomes a place of ephemeral encounters. Here the bodies melt in the shade, resistant by desire. From there, a voice rises.
Hélène, a recently separated woman in her thirties, takes refuge with her cousin Evelyne in Annemasse. But the flat of this bubbly sixty-something who became blind late in life is invaded by cockroaches. The two decide to set off on an adventure along the shores of Lake Geneva, with no money and no car, but with laughter in their bellies and the hope of a new beginning.
