Four people--Eliana, an adult movie actress who is pestered by a psychotic fan; Ester, a young woman who became pregnant with a village boy; Danilo, a failed deputy who is in love with a hotel maid much younger than him, and his unfaithful ex-wife, Elza--all end up in a small inner-city hotel.
Chico is tired of the relationship and his wife Nena's complaints. After spending 15 years together Chico has zero corauge to ask for a divorce. He decides to follow his friend's advice and hire a lover for his wife, in hopes that she gets involved with him and ends their marriage.
After seven years, Cláudio and Elisa's marriage is in danger. Some friends take Cláudio to a sex-shop, where he buys a rubber tongue, a little device that can save their relationship.
