It's the '90s, and five losers run an illegal business at their high school. They sell homework and assignments to their classmates. The advantage is that no one ever suspects the nerds. Their business brings them money and popularity. But hormones and an unexpected death threaten to ruin everything. If the business collapses, their futures and their friendships are at risk.
After Carlos is tasked to care for Paola, both characters must work out their differences to make their time together more pleasant. As time goes on, they are faced with lessons about trust, mutual respect, and perhaps love.
The newly separated Leonor comes from the monied class, while sixteen year old aspiring ballerina Emilia does not. They begin a tense pas de deux waiting out Emilia’s pregnancy in a remote country home, isolated from the world and each other.
