Boris Buzančić plays an idealistic young doctor who is assigned a nearly deserted village. The backwards residents at first resent Buzančić's new-fangled methods. Gradually, he proves his worth and wins their confidence. The clincher comes when Buzančić rids the community of a despotic villain.
A man wakes up in his grave and realizes that he's been buried alive. He gets up and arrives home only to find out that his wife and relatives threw a party instead of mourning, looking forward to his big inheritance.

He pictures himself in turn as a sports champion, an opera singer, a general, an orchestra conductor, a lover - All that makes him very happy but also - very tired. Now he needs a rest.
