In the wake of the new Civil Rights Movement it is important to tell Black stories from those who actually live it. Shoot first and ask questions later, lynchings, redlining, policing of hair, food deserts, underfunded schools are just a day in the life struggle of being Black in America.
Lisa "Navaho" Locklear learned early in life to use what she has to get what she wants, and she hustled her ample curves into a lucrative sex empire. While hosting a party Navaho is introduced to a young, charismatic street-preneur named Amaun. Tragedy strikes, forcing the two of them to depend on each other to survive the night. The two embark on an exhilarating journey of lust, chaos, and discovery. In the end, one of them will be left fighting for their life while the other will be left fighting for much more.
Live Between Evil is a departure from Shead's experimental style and aims at realistic recreation of bourgeois life on Sydney's Upper North Shore.
