A couple on a romantic weekend getaway rents an unusually low-priced beautiful beach house. Real estate agent mysteriously disappears, and the couple slowly realizes that the cheap rent comes with a high price. The house is haunted by someone who is set out to torment its guests.
Martina is a good immigrant. At least she has always done her best to be perceived as such. But then she meets the young Dunja during a short vacation at Lake Starnberg. She is self-confident, non-conformist and, above all, she stands by her Yugoslavian origins - in contrast to Martina.
