Lily, a second-generation Chinese teenager, discovers a kite while helping at her parents' restaurant, and in her quest to fly it high she journeys through Australian suburbia and terrain.
After an ordinary day at the produce markets, Zhan is met with the announcement that his daughter is moving to another city to pursue her dreams. Faced with the approaching separation, he struggles to express to her the words in his heart.
