It's summer and the rain is pouring down. Mathilde feeling bored, wishing it was winter and snow. Then she could go on winter holiday right away. Mathildes imaginary friends Morningbird and Murmelton are small enough to go on winter holiday in the freezer and an big adventure awaits them all.
On the beach a persecuted stray dog finally finds someone kind, a friendly man on his day off. Afraid of loosing his new-found friend he gets attached to this man - literally attached. STICK is a slapstick comedy about friendship. But it is also a story about impossible relations, loss and how to keep good things last by the use of memory.
Five-year-old Mathilde will soon have guests, and her father asks her to clean his toy cars. But Mathilde would rather have a car race on the living room floor with her imaginary friends Morning Bird and Marmot.
