An actor in search of fame finds on his Instagram the way to gain likes and boost his career. To maintain his fake life online, he does crazy things in real life and risks losing track of who he really is.

A mixture of corporate film, archive footage, documentary and making of, the film is an attempt of the scientists from the 'Brazilian Institute of Alternative and Secondary Importance Research' to fight the lack of funding, the closure of the institute and to keep their dreams alive.

Down Quixote is a feature film adapted from the classic Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes, written and directed by Leonardo Cortez, with a cast made up exclusively of actors with Down Syndrome. The actors are part of the ADID Theater Group which, in 2021, completes 23 years of existence, with 12 shows inspired by classics of world dramaturgy.
