A fascinating journey through the life of Israeli artist Dani Karavan, an irreverent and charismatic creator, recognized worldwide for radically transforming public space with his monumental environmental installations.
Juan, a thirteen year old boy, and Marco, his blind father due to the Falklands/Malvinas War, travel to his chilhood town in the north of Argentina. There he will discover an unknown side of the father and will take its own path to adulthood.
The film is based on the story "Goldfish" by the famous Israeli writer Etgar Keret, paradoxically combining modernity with fiction and the absurd. His heroes are: a young guy Jonathan, who came up with a documentary project in which he will shoot how ordinary people fantasize about what they would ask for from a goldfish; and a poorly speaking Hebrew immigrant from Russia Sergey, who has a real goldfish and has the last unnamed desire.
