Tarek Helmy is a young married psychiatrist who has a daughter named Farida. On her first birthday, a patient called Tawfiq Al-Masry comes to Tarek, explaining to him an experiment he wants to carry out: he will pick someone, "The Chosen", and put him through a cycle of self-destructive crises over thirty days.
On flight 710, a number of passengers share one thing with each other: that they are all mental patients with hidden secrets. Their plans and stories converge into one fate.

He crosses paths with an ancient Egyptian porter carrying a throne and wondering in search of his lost king. Now Sayed wants to be seated too 'even for 5 minutes to see how it feels'. This political allegory is a study of the inherent self-imposed oppression in third world nations.
