The plot revolves around IPS Officer Ronojoy Bose, who wants to arrest Aditya Sen, an affluent scientist and son of minister of health who uses secret illegal medical practices for profit.
The film is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel Dui Bon which was first published in 1933 and is among one of Tagore's last three works.
