Filmmaker Alan Collins grew up and spent the happiest years of his youth in India but at age 10 he was sent by his missionary parents to a boarding school in the UK that felt like a prison. Many years later he returned to his birthplace to re-experience his childhood memories. Searching for God in India is a feature documentary about modern India that is both a spiritual journey and a travel adventure film.
