Just two weeks before their wedding, we follow Sam and Maggie on a hike, as they explore the meaning of place. Sam wonders what he can hold on to, and if there are places he can escape to that will not fade. In Place of a Time Before addresses our relationship with landscape, and our struggles with holding on to people and places that inevitably change. Where do we find refuge?
