Small Island

A dog abandoned on an island waits for the day when he will be reunited with his master, the boatman, but he only comes back every now and then to throw something away and then returns. One day, the boatman sets foot on the island for the first time and comes inside. And he encounters the dog and the things he has thrown away on the island. What were they thinking as they sat around and looked at each other on that starry night?
