Description:
Vince Gilmer, a former Western North Carolina doctor, was sentenced to life in prison for the 2004 killing of his father. In 2022, he was conditionally pardoned after receiving a medical diagnosis. Two years later, Gilmer is finally out of prison and back in the mountains.
