Border Landscape Remix

Border Landscape is an audio-visual work that transforms video from surveillance cameras on the U.S - Mexico border into instruments of landscape art. The piece examines the intersection of national space, virtual and physical space by creating an uncanny environment from appropriated images and sound, familiar from western films and television, but imbued with a sense of something beyond the gaze of the all-seeing eye and the viewer.
